To make our pottery, I take clay and transform it into something beautiful that can be used for good things. It takes time to make even a simple piece. The clay has to be wedged, molded, dried for a few days, bisque fired, rough edges sanded, glazed and fired again. I transform the clay into something it could never be on its own: a bowl, cup, platter, birdhouse, etc.
My life has been transformed by the love of my Savior, Jesus Christ. Over time, God has transformed my life to be used for His good. It has not been an easy transformation. Metaphorically speaking, I have been wedged, molded, set out to dry, and put through the fire. But, God has given me hope and has transformed me into something I could never be on my own.
